I didn't get to watch last night, but all of the clips I watched this morning were fantastic. Revival's debut couldn't have been handled more perfectly, and after the rumors that their call up had been pushed aside a few weeks ago it was a treat to see them. Matt wasn't "broken" on Raw talk, but the confidence he has gained from playing that role really shined through, and he was more eloquent and comfortable speaking than he had ever been on WWE TV prior. Same goes for Jeff, he seems like a different guy in the best ways. Really happy for them getting to where they are after hitting their very publicized low points.

Jeff's super literal answer to how he feels about the "landscape" of the WWE killed me, especially how he didn't seem flustered at all and Matt's reaction. Goldberg killed it too. I think if WWE continues to err on the side of heelishness for Reigns, tonight's crowd reaction will be looked back on as a blessing in disguise.

Ready for Smackdown to murder it tonight.

 

It had everything that PPVs like RR and WM should have. Big debuts, surprises, returns, etc. I wonder what is happening to shake things up next week.

 

Angle getting into the HOF and Foley being gone meant the 'surprise' of him in a new role wasn't surprising. People were expecting Balor for multiple segments of the show, the surprise there wasn't that big.

The revival was cool, Emma was good in her match. The CW match was good. The crowd was dogshit and the rest of the night was completely forgettable besides the Roman promo. This isn't me asking for a 6-star Raw every single week -- though if that's not the goal as a company and the expectation as a fan, what is the point, then? -- this is me asking for the Raw after Mania, which is supposed to be the best one, to be 6-star. And it was a pretty throwaway.

I don't get how the draft shake up announcement was a positive for last night. Vince just came out and said "don't want WWE TV this week."

 

I always respect your opinion sir, but like, what are you looking for? Title changes? 30 minute matches? Raw after Mania is about wiping the slate clean and introducing new stuff, that's what they did.

 

They should've worked the roster shakeup into the show last night and tonight, not next week. It's weird that these people are debuting and might not even stay on the same show, and there was really no way to create new feuds/storylines with the exception of Reigns/Lesnar (ugh)

 

WM had virtually nothing to get excited about beyond the Hardys. Think about it.

I've been hearing that for about the last 4 main PPVs and or the Raws following them.

 

I was hoping so bad for Roman's music to hit as the mystery tag partner for Rollins. Would've been soooooo good.

This should've been what they went with haha. Imagine a "YEAH! BOO!" exchange, but instead of punches, it's just Roman and Rollins tagging each other in and out

 

Also, I still do not get they hype train with Balor at all. Hopefully this run is what turns me around.
