Colorado scoring this many goals is pretty hilarious.

 

To answer my earlier post on teams playing down to their competition, the easy answer should have been the Kings.

 

Colorado is useless.

Funny story about them.. Beauchemin had asked them to come to Anaheim for the anniversary of the SC. COL actually considered but changed their minds once Beauch said "it's not like we're gonna make the playoffs anyways" lol

 

I cannot believe that Boston is, yet again, choking away a playoff position in late March. I truly didn't think this would happen lol. Incredible, really

 

I wonder if the Blues or Perds can take over the 2nd spot from the Wild who are hilariously dropping.

 

sharks can basically decide if they stay in first play or possibly drop to wildcard with these last 9 games.

They play both the flames and oilers twice in this final stretch.

 

Flyers need a lot of people to start losing if they want to get in. 50/50 schedule to finish out the season. Realistically need to win most of them. Two Columbus games, a Sens game, and a Pens game don't have me faithful. Bleh.

 

Oilers need to not play like they have the last 2 games

It's kind of funny, at the beginning of the season, even at the mid-point for that matter, I couldn't have given a rat's ass about the playoffs, but now I'm super anxious and filled with dread at the thought of missing.

Does anyone here watch GoT? 'cause watching these last few weeks makes me feel exactly how I felt watching Oberyn fight Clegane. And I feel like it's gonna end similarly.

Edit: Fuuuuck I just remembered our last playoff appearance is actually a way better analogy for that fight. The 2 most fucking horrendous ~8 minute sequences I've ever witnessed in my life. I've depressed myself so much just now.

 

I think the thing that bugs me the most is how the sharks lineup just can't produce at all. The Sharks send down players like Labanc for not being on a hot streak but yet our bottom six doesn't score at all.

I seriously hate Haley and I'm starting to hate Tierney. I always defended him as just improper matchup but the dude is constantly getting destroyed every night.

Wow yeah I didn't realize how bad the Sharks slump is. Honestly in the pacific division, any one of those teams in the top 4 right now could finish in first

 

I'm ready for the season to end, I'm tired of watching a bad Wings team

Like I get that he's had some shitty games lately. That'll happen when your team rides you into the dirt three seasons in a row. And doesn't supply you with effective backup goaltending. And the backup goaltending you do get receives one win out of 11 games into February.

Can't wait til we put him up for sale in a saturated goalie market and get pennies on the dollar

 

There's a decent chance you guys draw the top Pacific team though as the first wild card, Calgary's has to play Ducks, Kings, and Shorks twice each lol.

 

I want to believe but there's too many teams that need to screw up for it to happen. I'm enjoying how well they're playing though.
