If you're able to hook it up... i would be forever in yr debt.

I wonder if the recording of Praise Chorus is from the last Bamboozle? I don't know of any other shows where Davey sang it with them.

    The people are thirsty lol

I've def been converted to "Dizzy". Hadn't given that one a fair shake before and its just a great closer, one of the stronger songs on that album for sure. I still don't feel the same way at all about "Pol Roger".

Pol Roger is a top 3 JEW closer for me at this point. Really means a lot to me right now in my life

Same here. I like Pol Roger, but Dizzy is more special for some reason. I also enjoy the acoustic version of Dizzy a lot.

'Pol Roger' was my favorite song of 2016 and probably a top 5 JEW song for me. Just a really really special song.

Pol Roger starts out with such an interesting sound, almost the same slow burn as Disintegration. But it really loses me at the chorus - something about the chord progression in the chorus feels like a JEW retread, like they've done this same melody before.

I want to know how Jim manages to write such heartbreaking lyrics while being a married family man. There's lyrics on Integrity Blues and Damage that destroy me. It's unreal.

I think somebody in here shared that he takes from experiences other people around him are going through for lyrical content as well

I completely agree with this because, I was very convinced that he had gone through a divorce, hence why he stopped wearing his weeding ring, and it was exactly what Integrity blues was about!
But no doubt that him is probably , in my own opinion, one of the most underrated song writers of that last 15 years!

I second this! Especially because I remember he described Damage as an "adult break up record" during that album cycle & the lyrics definitely reflected that. The lyrics on IB are super good, too. I know the guys are pretty private when it comes to their personal lives, but I was bummed when I noticed Jim wasn't wearing his ring anymore.

Anyone else feel like each of the last three albums have been subconsciously influenced by the albums that the band were playing anniversary shows for around the making of those albums? I feel like Invented has a lot of Clarity influence (at least in terms of the types of sounds used) and ditto with Damage/Bleed American and Integrity Blues/Futures.
