Oh I know, I was only referring to the Hawks' green jerseys as Irish and comparing them just based on color

 

Truly a Cinderella story.

 

Crazy that the Caps are the first team to clinch, with 100 pts, with only 11 games left. Would have thought it'd happened weeks ago.

 

The top 4 in the pacific division are sooo close. Edmonton, Anaheim and Calgary switch places like every day at this point. It's gonna come down to the very last game of the season for that divisions seats.

I'm generally starting to get worried for the Sharks. It seems like they are having a flunk at the worst possible times.

I think the two biggest things are how they refuse to change a terrible power play and also the lineup is still questionable.

Sharks PP this season has been basically pass it to burns and hope he scores or a good tip/rebound chance. It doesn't work at all especially compared to last year when the PP ran through Jumbo.

The other problem has been lineup. I know Karlsson has been injured but the lineups should be in a much better place. The curse of Deboer not trusting rookies unless they are scoring is the worst.

also the sharks defensive duo in vlasic/braun are having a terrible year and that makes me worried.

 

You can start by beating them on Wednesday lol

I hope Carlyle keeps going with Bernier because he's kept the team together since Gibby went down.

I still can't believe we got Panik straight up for Morin

 

Kings' playoff chances take a bit hit but the Flames gain ground on the Ducks.

 

Panik's career path has been so weird. He was very obviously blocked in Tampa Bay, but I never understood really what he did to fully warrant being waived. He always had the potential - being 6'1" and a former 2nd rounder who excelled in the AHL. He also plays the type of gritty, heavy body game teams always want out of their players. What he always needed was a talented roster to give him opportunity. In Tampa, he didn't get that. In Toronto, he was playing with a tank job roster. In Chicago he has been playing with good players top to bottom, and he doesn't have to worry about anything except playing his game. Amazing how that will lead to success.
