emperor x and some others are playing at the middle east on monday and it's gonna be a really good show, I'm unfortunately going to be on business travel but I recc this show if you like post folk ish/anything related to the epoch collective (eskimeaux/told slant etc) kinda music

omg. I got into this band because of AP.net right before they broke up and now I live where they're from and this news makes me HYPED

 

oh also I'm going to one of the yankees/sox games in may and I'm really excited. it's my first sox game since living in the area, I'm originally from NY (a mets fan, so I too, hate the yankees) so it's gon' be good

 

Definitely plan on going to this. Also bought tickets to Explosions in the Sky at HOB in September.

 

Going to buy my ticket for The 1975 next week. My friend can't come with me so I'll be going solo but would love to do a meet up with forum homies who will be there!

 

Piebald tickets went crazy fast. Had to trade a spare BN/MM ticket to obtain one. They added a 2nd date, tickets go on sale at 3pm.

I was lucky enough to snag two tickets for the first date (which is actually a day after the new show, which is kinda lame) for my girlfriend and me.

Definitely interested, love them.

 

Went to a new brewery in Lynn, Bent Water Brewing Company. Solid place. Tiny, but the beer is good, and you can order in food. They plan on adding a patio this summer, which is exciting.

Nice, can't wait. Missed them on the Farewell tour, haven't actually seen them since DTGL came out so I am pumped. I had to get tickets off StubHub so I paid double the value but I hope it's worth it!

 

I'm gonna be in Boston for the first time this weekend for roughly 48 hours. Any things that I have to do? Gonna be staying one night around Cleveland Circle with a bud and another night in Somerville as far as my starting off points are concerned, and my bus gets in and leaves from South Station

 

If you like Mexican food, you've got to try Anna's Taqueria, there's one right in Somerville (Davis Square).
