The rule is still there. It's just that it's not a red anymore if the defender tried to go for the ball. Which was not the case for the penalty situation so the red was justified and because of denying a clear goal scoring opportunity.

 

Remember when I said that Arsenal were on for another pounding.

 

I honestly expected a scoreline like this, but somehow I'm still angry. Does any other team lose by such big scorelines so regularly?

Arsenal Fan TV has brought me much joy the past month or so

 

Napoli looked excellent against Real. The difference was really on set pieces. Marek Hamsik was a man on a mission. Loved his physicality and he was picking some good shots. It seemed like Real really couldn't handle the pace Napoli was playing at... but with all of those quality chances, you gotta put more than one in the net.
