The only real concern I had was the OS after the disaster that was the slow Wii U launch OS but that's nice and speedy and clean. I'm confident I will quite like my Switch.

 

Gamexplain guy has been my favorite coverage for the Switch this whole period. I enjoy his optimism, and the way he criticizes or gives feedback always sound reasonable to me, especially since it feels like he's really aiming those concerns bouncing off on what Nintendo is trying to achieve rather than what other consoles are trying to do.

I mean it's a tablet-sized console. That is amazing!

For any GameStop.com homies like @Anthony_D'Elia and myself, GameStop has come out and said that they won't be shipping Switch preorders until the 2nd, so no need to check all day. I have resolved not to check until at least 9 am tomorrow lol.

 

and as I said earlier, I've had every one of my Amazon preorders ship the day before too so if you preordered at Amazon and it hasn't shipped, don't panic yet.

Yeah I'm going to spend all day tomorrow checking Amazon. I'll be furious if it doesn't get dispathed.

Also Horizon got here for about 12ish today so I'm hoping they'll show up around that time on Friday too, if not earlier.

Thanks for that! I was getting nervous after the problems I had with my card this week.

 

I have mine for in-store pickup from Best buy and it's still showing as "Processing"

Just picked up my micro sd card. Getting amped up

 

I missed out on a really good Amazon deal for a 128gb sd card, but I'll probably solely be playing Zelda for a bit so I guess I can hold out for a discount

 

Order status changed to preparing shipment HYPE TRAIN COMIN TO THE STATION

 

I'm picking up nothing and I'm still hyped.

 

Yeah, I'm going fully physical for everything I can this go around. Really don't want to have to buy two digital versions of Zelda for me and girlfriend when I can buy one cart instead due to multiple save slots. Have run into that issue too many times already just with the titles I purchased digitally on 3DS, learned my lesson. 32 GB should be good for my needs for the first year or so.

 

still deciding if I'm gonna pick mine up at the midnight release or just wait until Friday. Not like I'd get to play it and I'm taking a half day on friday anyway

 

I literally want to kill you for seeing Menzingers and Jeffy tomorrow night, leading into the Switch release. If I had to write down my conditions for a perfect 24 hour period, that may be what I'd choose haha.

 

I'm seriously so lucky, what an amazing two days.
