ID have the song Radioactive which for the longest time I thought was "Ready to rock this" by the way he sings it. I will say I like the song Demons by them though.

 

ID are just super generic and overplayed, they're not *bad* in the same way 21P are

 

Remember a few years back when everyone was really really into that atrocious Sun Kil Moon record? Dark days.

 

I get more excited to check out the album a 70s one hit wonder came from than a critically lauded BNM more often than not.

Benji is an alright record but, different strokes and all, it's astounding to me how people look at albums like Ghosts or April and say "I'd rather listen to his new stuff"

I saw Craig open for Japandroids and was honestly laughing his entire set. Was like Max Bemis trying to cover Sun Kill Moon. The new Japandroids records blows.

Haha, I can vouch for you. I remember you hating on that record after I reviewed it (quite) positively. I'd still stand by parts of it, but what he's done and the music he's released since has made it harder to enjoy. But "I Can't Live Without My Mother's Love," man. That's a perfect song.

 

You should listen to "Ariel" by Dean Friedman. Not because it has anything to do with anything. Just because I discovered it this week and am obsessed and want to make someone else listen
