the rubio contract actually isn't THAT terrible now, especially seeming that the cap is going up yet again next year. i think it is on par with what he can contribute to a team.

if it is for just the rest of the year, i would be fine with that as it is like 28 games or so. but if they give him max money like he was reportedly wanting earlier this season, plz no.

 

I don't think Thibs will give him max money; he wants to start Dunn next year for sure, so deal I think will be for rest of season, then depending on how he performs, then might resign for more after that

 

The Nets had to take on Nicholson's fairly bad contract and give up their only asset worth giving up besides Lopez just to get a late first. Oof.

that's a great trade, Bogdan was going to leave anyway. Nicholsons contract isn't that bad, he'll actually get Minutes for the nets lol not like they can't afford to take on cap for a pick. McCullough is nothing but a d league guy to fit. Another awful Kidd draft pick. Bogdan is great but not worth more than a first and a role player. I'll miss him.

 

I'm glad RJ didn't retire just for this moment.
