they just traded him for a 1st basically. Raptors could've traded their 1st if they really wanted him, or any other team.

 

Brewer is also getting paid 8 million about each of the next two years lolol

Yeah after thinking about it you would think that's what they will do, or maybe even just release him in hopes of a contending team picking him up. If they are trying to give the younger core more minutes they shouldn't keep him.

Also for some reason I forgot about the derrick rose rape case, so hopefully we don't trade for that dude, he's the worst

Divac literally admitted he had a better deal two days before, but they turned it down. It's not confirmed which team it was (my guess is Orlando), but your telling me a competent GM wouldn't look at this deal and think "okay, I had better deals two days ago. We've got a few more days before the deadline, let's maybe see what else we can get"? Lakers said no because they didn't want to give up Ingram. That's one piece, revisit it. Orlando offered Vucevic, Fournier, and their 2017 1st. Revisit that. The Suns was supposably Len, Warren, Knight and a draft pick. Revisit that. A better deal than what they did couldn't have popped up in four days? No, I don't buy that.

Listened to that this morning. Needless to say I didn't fully agree. I'm not arguing that they were going to get a 1:1 return for Boogie. Any deal was probably going to be lopsided against the Kings, but I just can't be convinced they couldn't have gotten better than this. Just keeping him would have been better. The only solid asset they get from this is Chicago won't be taking their pick, but we all know they'll fuck that pick up anyway.

 

Remember when they drafted cauley-stein at 6? Haha
