He's not losing in 5 minutes, he will heel his way to a 15-ish minute match by avoiding Goldberg. That way Goldberg will be able to catch his breath

 

I don't think so. Booking part timers winning hasn't historically buried people. And winning over part timers hasn't really pushed anyone over the top. Getting yourself over is just that, plain and simple. As long as you are on good terms, and creative is willing to give the push, things will work out, long term.

Except for Zack Daddy.

 

There is no scenario in which anyone comes out of the KO/Goldberg match looking good. No matter how you break it down, you have some combination of KO, Goldberg, and Brock all looking bad no matter what the outcome is and how they got there.

 

maybe they have another zayn/jericho match at fast lane for the US belt, jericho somehow loses on the fault of KO. During the universal championship match jericho comes out and attacks KO causing a DQ and starting the build for WM.

wishful thinking, ha.

 

That sounds like top of the line booking from the biggest wrestling promotion in the world!

I mean, that is sadly my fantasy booking to keep the belt on KO. THat or a Brock interference. Neither of which I really want as a fan who would like the occasional clean finish.

Simpler reality is KO is losing and he'll directly blame Jericho for booking it

 

i can not even remember the last time KO had a clean finish, so like someone else said maybe taking the belt off of him and just leaving a wake of destruction without a belt will be a breath of fresh air. they just chose the wrong feud for him to drop the belt in. (IF)

mick's scenario is overly pessimistic. KO could be fine, depending on how involved Jericho is. Brock could also be fine, but that's wayyyy down the line.
