holy shit this tour is gonna be fantastic

 

Depends on the new album. This is probably the biggest make or break album I've seen in awhile. A flop would kill all momentum.

 

30STM are also at Bunbury and Firefly. They also have there own Mars Camp festival thing in the middle of August. But these gaps are nuts. There has to be more shows coming / to be added or that each band will be play separate shows from each other.

 

Muse usually has an extremely elaborate stage setup too, gaps in dates might be to make sure all pieces of it arrive to the venue on time too haha

 

I wondered the same thing. I also thought that PVRIS was going to be on warped this year- guess I was wrong.

 

Regardless of the couple festivals and how long it takes equipment to get places, they're still only playing 1-3 shows together a month for five months lol. Can't see them stopping and meeting up together again that often

 

Thrice is rumored to be opening that Deftones/Rise Against tour.

That would be huge for them.

 

I think PVRIS will really blow up after this tour.

 

I swear I see that exact statement said about literally every support tour they get on haha. I'm not trying to dog on you, I just see that statement A LOT.

Take this with a huge grain of salt, but a friend of mine posted on Facebook that Deftones will be playing White Pony, and Rise Against will be playing Appeal to Reason on this tour. No source or anything.

 

That will get me there in a second. Love both of those albums, hopefully it turns out to be true

 

Is that based just on the videos they posted?

 

No idea where my friend got it from. I actually haven't even watched the videos they posted.

If Thrice is opening that RA tour I would go just for those two. Never got into Deftones.

 

Deftones playing White Pony makes that tour a must

We'll see if it's even true! The post I saw had no source at all. Just thought I'd share it here as speculation.

 

I can't see Deftones playing Back to School for an entire tour.
