First real concert was supposed to be Summer Sanitarium 03 but my dumb ass was in summer school and my parents "grounded" me. First show actually ended up being Rob Thomas back when his first solo album came out. First "scene" show (other than local shows) was probably Yellowcard at a local college right when Lights and Sounds came out. That was wild haha. I think the best show I ever went to was Projekt Revolution 07 (LP, MCR, TBS, HIM, Madina Lake, Saosin, The Bled and more).

First ever concert was B*Witched, LFO, and Nick Cannon back in 2000.

First show moving into this scene was Panic! at the Disco, Motion City Soundtrack, The Hush Sound and Phantom Planet in 2008. I'd seen a few other random bands (Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Plain White T's [when they were still more "scene" i guess]) at Six Flags shows but I don't really count that.

First show truly in this scene was All Time Low, Valencia, There For Tomorrow, The Friday Night Boys, The Color Fred, Ace Enders, and the Morning Light at a Christmas Festival in my area.

As long as Hellyeah is still together, it'll never happen. I'm glad to have seen them once with Nonpoint and an unknown In This Moment.

My first show was Yellowcard / Matchbox Romance. I also saw the first US +44 show that same year so I'm pretty happy with my choices.

I know it just makes me sad they were and still are on of my favorites. In This Moment was so good but I just can't deal with them anymore.

First ever concert was Warped 2006. I saw Saves The Day, Armor For Sleep, Aiden, Against Me!, Saosin and Silverstein before having to leave early because I had a really bad sun burn due to not bringing sunscreen. Definitely a rookie mistake, but that is still one of the most important days in my life.

My first club show was Rise Against, Silverstein, Comeback Kid and Holy Roman Empire. That is still one of my favorite shows I've ever been to as Rise Against and Silverstein were my two favorite bands at the time.

I agree. I think Chad is one of the most underrated metal vocalists of all time. His screams and his singing were just on point! I remember a couple years ago where Greg left Hellyeah due to an argument with him and Chad. I'm assuming that Chad is the most difficult one to work with and since he's in a band that's more commercially successful than Mudvayne, he's not leaving. As crazy as it sounds, I think we'd get a Pantera reunion with someone like Zakk Wylde replacing Dimebag first before Mudvayne gets back together. As far as ITM is concerned, they used to be really good as a band before they turned into the Maria Brink show.

I finally got to see Hellyeah at the last Mayhem and this years Rock Allegiance and man he still has it too. Guy can scream his ass off.

I was also at this year's Rock Allegiance and that performance was incredible! I think the one thing that's better than his voice is the fact that he's 45 years old and can still jump high in the air! I honestly think the secret to life is whisky and Vinnie's BBQ haha

Take whatever you will from this. Looks like a Muse, Thirty Seconds to Mars, and PVRIS tour is incoming. Also, guy on the Muse subreddit claims to know something about this as well.

EDIT: If you go on muse.mu (Muse's site) and click any of the header images, THIS will pop up.

Muse is playing a few festivals (Bunbury and Firefly in June, Lolla in August) and one in the UK at the end of August, but still yeah, very large gaps.

Was listening to the Jasta podcast today and he said Hatebreed dates incoming next week. Didn't specify U.S. or overseas though.

    music is all we got

My first real concert was a radio festival with Papa Roach, 3 Doors Down, MxPx, Fenix TX, Stroke 9, etc. when I was like six years old. The first show in this scene, and the show that got me into going to shows regularly, was the Fall Out Boy/AAR/Hawthorne Heights/FFTL/Hush Sound tour in 2006. Man, I feel old.

Also, PVRIS are really moving on up, good for them!

forgive me as I was late to the whole "show thing" first concert ever was Shania Twain at 5 because my mom said I was so obsessed with her voice and looks at that age, she had no choice but to surprise me.. I actually remember alot of it too. haha. after that I had seen various rappers due to my uncle being in the military and them playing on base. first look into the scene was warped 2011. best lineup ever for me. (a day to remember, the word alive, we came as romans, miss may I, the devil wears prada, august burns red, of mice and men.. etc) after that was my first club show at the norva (miss may I/pierce the veil/woe is me/amity affliction/letlive) and after that was (we came as romans/emmure/sleeping with sirens/attila) however, I tried LONG before that first warped to go to shows.. some of the ones I missed were:

the word alive headliner - spring 2011
    adtr/underoath/the word alive - fall 2010
    the devil wears prada/miss may i - summer 2010
    adtr/abr/silverstein - spring 2010
story of the year/the devil wears prada/haste the day/all that remains - fall 2009
darkest hour/parkway drive (thrash and burn) - summer 2008

I would also assume stage production set up time depending what they bring. Taylor swift A,B and C rigs all over and it took 2-3 days per rig which is why most some shows went from the us to a different country then back to the states. I think U2 had 3 rigs aswell and did the same thing but took much longer to set up
