he's just annoying as hell, his schtick is dumb, he's basically just a generic 2000s pop punk kid that will never grow up

Oh, I thought he said or did something fucked up. Yeah I never understood why after EVERY COMMENT he'd have to do his signature "- gunz". I'm shocked he's not trying to be another pop punk YouTuber like Jared Dines or Jarrod Alonge. I honestly don't know the difference between either of them.

i'm more of just sick of these older men that just stay in their little pop punk musical bubble for years and still aren't troubled by it, heh

$25k for the MMI/BTF package?! hah, it is definitely nowhere near that. judging from the average $18 ticket price, and most of these venues (with a few exceptions) being on the mid to low end of 500-1000 cap, i could see them coming at promoters with a guarantee somewhere around 10k. which of course is just the starting point of negotiation, and probably got a lot less judging by how small some are, as a promoter likely isnt going to give a sell out offer (unless its a ridiculous underplay that is going to kill at the bar, which this isnt).

Would Deftones/Rise Against be an ampitheater tour?

I missed most of those tours. I was on a big 90s Fat Wreck/Epitaph kick from about 2005-2009 so I feel like I missed a lot of the golden age of this scene. Warped was my only exposure to it in those days. I didn't really get into "Scene" Pop Punk, Metalcore, etc. until college. Some good lineups there. Out of those, I attended the FOB/AAR/HH/FFTL tour and AP Fall Ball 09.

I didn't attend my first concert until 2003 when I was 17 and then went away to college in a small town from 2004 to 2008. I missed a lot of good tours.

First show ever was Run DMC/Eiffel 65 in 2000. What a pairing. I was 10.

First rock show was blink 182, New Found Glory, and Bodyjar in 2001.

Warped Tour started coming to town in 2005 and that was when I really started digging into music seriously. I started going to Warped strictly for the NOFX, Bad Religion, Dropkick Murphys type bands, but after a couple years of seeing some cool sets from bands I had never heard of, I got into the other parts of the Warped scene. Reggie And The Full Effect in 05, Senses Fail in 06 and Underoath in 07 were the sets that sold me on what Warped was transitioning into at the time.

Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

My first concert was the David Lee Roth Van Halen reunion haha

First in a smaller venue was Mustard Plug at the Magic Stick
