As I play more and more, I'm realizing that I'm dying over and over again or having real trouble dealing with certain heroes. As Tracer, a good Roadhog seems to absolutely destroy me. I'm trying my best with constantly moving, but one hook and I'm done for. As D.Va, I've realized I have a lot of trouble with Zarya and Zenyatta specifically -- I'm thinking due to their armor. Lastly, anytime I run support/healer, I find Pharah and Junkrat to be my worst enemies. Actually, Genji is a real pain, too.

Outside of "git gud," who would be some heroes that would hard counter these that fulfill the same role? Or what have you been successful with in dealing with heroes that are countering you pretty hard?

I finally got the new dva skin and emote, and prestiged!

 

Somehow I've only gotten one skin this event. This is the least I've ever gotten, and it's bumming me out.

 

I mean, I've had the two non-event ones for a while now.

 

I got the Firework Junkrat skin last night which sucks because I'm never changing from the Dr Junkenstein skin.

It's perfect.

 

Since this post, I got the Lunar New Year Reinhardt skin. If I can get one of D.va or Mei, I'll be finished with the event.

I've been having the biggest problem you can imagine with that lately in the multiplayer games I've been playing (mostly Overwatch and COD4 Remastered). Seriously, it is the absolute most frustrating thing.

 

Other then color scheme most of those are a pretty big stretch

 

I opened two more boxes today and all I got was a D Va emote and victory pose.

don't tease me with d va stufff that isn't the skin.

 

Got some really good games of CTF in last night. The mode has its flaws for sure, but with the right team it's so easy to blaze through games and grab some quick loot boxes.

 

I've been playing CTF all day to get the arcade loot boxes and have yet to get one. drawdrawdrawlossdrawdrawdrawdraw

 

Yeah I was doing that for a bit but then I switched to mystery heroes. At least there I feel like I win a good amount.

Duo queued with a friend a few times this week and didn't win a single competitive match. Would say it's time for a break but I really wanna get as many event loot boxes as I can

 

Mystery heroes has been a ton of fun (especially with a friend or two). Gets me out of my comfort zone with heroes, but I never feel like I'm totally dropping the ball when I'm just playing poorly.

 

I gave up on CTF. Mostly playing No Limits now

 

I only use Roadhog in CTF. I just finished my last game in gold with eliminations and 15 enemies hooked with a 78% accuracy rating.

Nice.

 

I open my loot box right now and I see gold coming out and I get all excited.

That gold turns into a legendary Mccree Gambler skin and I'm bitter. I already have the McCree Scrooge skin so I'm not changing from that.

 

Had a slew of fantastic games last night. One of which was a no limits match where the Symetra/Torbjorn combo was on full effect. Never really used Symetra or that combo before. We destroyed them.

Then with the mystery hero match afterwords I was Symetra again, and went 15-0 kd.

Though of course my loot boxes were garbage.

 

no limit matches are so fun to mess around in with friends.

Me and my friends did a 3 man Zenyatta crew with 2 tanks and a offense and we dominated. They rarely had any chance to get on the point.

 

finally got all the arcade loot boxes playing no limits, but it still took me forever, and too many people aren't interested in doing troll team comps. what's the point if it's just like quick play?

 

That's why I play random. It gives me a chance to play characters I normally don't and people cant be dicks.
