Apparently they didn't announce it yet and the local radio station said they have to wait for a date or two on the tour to be confirmed before anyone could announce it.

not really reunion shows at this point, they even toured late last year

 

They're also playing The Emerson in Indy on the 16th.

 

Got approved to take photos at AFI / Nothing literally seconds after this was announced. So upset I can't be there :(

 

being at a nothing show seems to be very opposite of a very positive helpful experience of a benefit show, heh

Not too big on MMF, but HOLY SHIT that lineup is stacked.

 

I know I'm bias because I just don't like MMF all that much, but literally every tour they've headlined in the past 2 years they've been the weakest band on the bill.

 

What's your favorite on the bill? if I may ask.

 

Oddly enough it's The Color Morale. I'd hope that they play less new stuff but I feel like it'll be half and half. Second is Blessthefall.

 

Does anyone else always try to find the date near them for every tour announcement you see even if you have absolutely no interest in going

 

Haha, yes I do! I also check because I'm curious to see how big of venues the band is playing.

 

Yup, haha. Depending on how close it is to me, there aren't many shows I wouldn't go to. If a band from that scene I didn't really like was playing 5-10 minutes away from me, I'd probably go tbh.

 

that date of the MMF tour is 1400 cap. Do they usually sellout venues those size? I know they played Norfolk, VA (first time as a headlining act) and it drew well, this was the tour with WCAR/MMI/FT. Then in the fall with Prada at The Ritz in Raleigh, NC which I was told didn't sell well, but was very packed by by the time MMF started. (Prada closed that night) Norva is 1450 and The Ritz is around 2000. I'm wondering if they'll start playing those venues more often.

 

If that's the case, I expect them to play at House of Blues or Concord Music Hall in Chicago. It all depends if Riot Fest decides to pick it up.
