Being a big hearted person with plenty of love to give is nothing to be at odds with. Trust I know those exact feelings well, when I was a lil younger it lead to a lot of people taking advantage of me and my desire for that love back but over time i learned... Fuck em, if shit fails at least I know I wasn't the shitty one. People with love to give will always find it while takers at some point dry up their wells.

Along the same lines as alert said. Love like you have nothing to lose and eventually that will pay off 100 fold.

My god... the day itself yesterday wasn't bad, but the night? Fucccckk me, head in toilet sick, sweating buckets and laying on the bathroom floor to recoop. In that time my girl finally hits me up after 2 days saying she was in the hospital. She seems alright but because I was so sick we didn't get to speak on anything yet. She's not mad; so that's good, but I do wanna talk to her and see she's okay.

 

Spoke and the flu bug hit her like Brock Lesnar hitting Rikishi with a clothesline... (for emphasis...:)

Shes in the super worn down, need sleep but still all you do is sleep so sick life is sidelined mode. Feel bad for her, kinda cruddy we both get sick when we're both about to start jobs. But at least there's still that bright side.

 

After my great date the other week, saw the girl at training tonight (we both play dodgeball) and organised a second date.
She's coming round to mine on Friday to watch some movies and for her to try and convince me she doesn't have a terrible choice in films. (Her favourite film is "Cheaper By The Dozen", God help me) Really looking forward to that, even if I have to sit through that film.

does anyone else's s/o cook for them nearly every night? mine does and she's so fucking good at it like damn i need to learn how to cook so i can return the favor in a way thats more than just doing the dishes

 

i do most of the cooking, but only because i enjoy it. the things that my wife does make are very good though.

 

when I was with my ex I cooked almost every night, but I just like cooking. Just make it something you do together, cooking together is nice.

 

i used to help her when we lived at my parents but the kitchen in our apartment is wayyyyyy too small id probably just get in the way

 

yeah I feel that, my last place was devoid of counter space

 

Got this job, now to get this money, then I can make this move pop off and me and my girl can finally be stable, set in one spot for good....

Re: cooking. I don't like food, and I don't cook (aside from putting a pizza in the oven). My wife loves food and loves to cook, so she's always made dinner. However, this year, as sort of a New Year's resolution and just overall be a better partner, I decided to cook dinner for her every Tuesday. It's been a hit so far and she's actually extremely impressed with the recipes I find.

 

As someone who likes to cook, there's very little I enjoy more than having someone to, like, grab a random ingredient or chop a vegetable or keep our wine glasses full and just kinda be around to talk and help. Makes it way more fun.

 

My ex loved cooking and he'd cook all the time and i'd clean up and do the dishes. People will say oh sure come help me and then I will and get more in the way than help so it's better for everyone if I don't lol
