I ordered blackened catfish etouffee and Aeryn is having the fishsticks. we out here splurging

 

I attempted honey garlic baked cauliflower. I failed miserably. Now I'm eating the few leftover veggie mandarin orange chicken I have and a banana. Sad day.

 

I ordered a medium rare burger for the first time ever and they brought me well-done. The universe doesn't want me to try new things.

 

I ordered a medium burger from Longhorn once (via takeout) and it arrived completely red in the center. had to microwave the shit out of it just to eat it


Longhorn is really, really awful tho

 

I got to the bottom of bananagate at Safeway. They ran out of bananas because the weather was so bad the trucks couldn't deliver food. Screw this nonsense. I think taco bell closed for the same reason. The weather is impacting my food now.

 

I don't know if anyone else has noticed but living in an agricultural region I do. Pecans are another food that we harvest and the past couple years, YIKES. Pecans are expensive AF now bc they're in high demand. This is a pecan field by my house and they never go completely bare like this.

 

Sorry for single-handedly destroying the world's pecan population, pecan pie is just so good

 

I don't think I've ever had pecan pie. But thanksgiving my sister bought stuff to make pumpkin pecan cobbler and never made it and I still have the pecans and I feel like I have a bag of expensive gold or something lol

 

nuts are expensive in general but pecans and macadamia nuts are ridic yo

 

I love cashews but i can't afford them for real lol

 

Good pistachios are worth the price. That said, I haven't had them in almost a year.

For some reason Safeway decided to put a huge display of sparkling cider next to the pharmacy so every time I've gone to the pharmacy I buy one and I didn't realize how much I drank until I gathered all the bottles up

 

I walked into mcdonalds and I asked for a sweet tea with no ice for my dad. The lady laughed and was like "you realize it's self serve right?"
