Modern Life Is War is definitely not "confirmed" lol

I don't think most of those are.

I'm just going off of what I've heard here and a few other places. There's bound to be at least a few of these that turn out false. MLIW and Municipal Waste have me suspicious, Hatebreed as well kind of. More than a few of these I 100 percent belive will happen though.

This would be the dream team honestly. Is this just a random guess or do you actually think some of these artists have a high likelihood of playing warped?

I was the one who brought that up a while ago. They get offered warped often, get offered REALLY good tours, somewhat high up on the bill but SHAWN refuses to take the offers to do little "headliners" in the same small venues, in the same towns, to the same kids! He wants to put his pride before the band! I can tell you on their guarantee for the headliners for the last year and a half has been $700

Total guesses based on album releases, rumors, and current tour plans. I keep updating it here and there when new info pops up. I think the bulk of it is realistic. Just had a hard time filling in the main stages so I have a couple stretches (Against Me, Billy Talent, Anti-Flag) thrown in to round it out.

Body Count seems like a stretch too, but I think it's reasonable. They did Mayhem Fest in 2014 which was also ran by Kevin, Ice T did Warped once back in the day (99 or 2000 I think), and they struck up a friendship with Upon A Burning Body during their Mayhem Fest run together, who I also expect to play this summer. I don't think they'd feel too out of place for a week or two run. Plus they're releasing a new album this year.

I feel like Anti-Flag is gonna play for sure

That sounds about right. My friend's older sister is from their hometown and only has a passing interest in the scene these days, but the band seems to have her convinced they're still huge. Me and her discuss music sometimes and she occasionally says outrageous stuff like "I wish Sleeping With Sirens would open for Alesana" and similar nonsense.

Creeper actually comes from the Waterparks/TCTT thread (or the tour prediction thread, can't remember which), DGD comes from someone tweeting at them about Warped and them replying that it was highly likely that it was happening, FFAK comes from the offical tour prediction thread (someone said they talked to Ryan and said that was in the plans, might have been @King Chevy7), Hatebreed comes from someone else in this thread saying it was happening along with a few other "true" hardcore bands (if you click on your NYD source it's on that page as well). Every other source you have is right though. Thanks for gathering it, and also I know there's more than a few that are a stretch/unbelievable, but like 90 percent of these are very likely to happen/have already been confirmed one way or another.

The more I think about it, I don't think it's a given that The Ghost Inside plays. I could see them doing a few dates but I doubt they do a full run. They haven't played a show since November 2015 and still aren't 100%.

I think you're right. They probably had all the right intentions when Kevin made that announcement last year but there was really no way to know if they would be ready. Jumping into a full run would probably do them more harm than good.

There isn't one band on that list that does absolutely anything for me

Blessthefall, Creeper, Hatebreed, Dance Gavin Dance, A Skylit Drive would all be good for me.

Municipal Waste too, but I really doubt they play.

It's looking like this year will be more Metal/Hardcore focused which is fine with me. Nice contrast to last year being more Pop Punk focused.

Someone "confirmed" A Skylit Drive awhile ago and now we're back to talking about how they will never do Warped Tour again unless the play a main stage.

Unfortunately its basically going to be the same exact lineup as 2015 if the rumors are all true. I get that that;ll happen but they need more of a mix-up on the bigger stages.

I guess I'm in the minority who really liked the 2015 lineup

The merch guy for Direct Hit! randomly added me on Facebook. He said one of the guys just had a kid and that they can only do a few weeks at a time. He didn't think they will do Warped Tour.

    It's chaos. Be kind. Prestigious

I would watch Hatebreed, Municipal Waste and Harms Way, but have a feeling they would all move down to "If I Have Time" bands when the full lineup would be announced.

Also, that Four Year Strong tour is hitting B-markets. I could see all three support bands playing (Can't Swim, Light Years, Sleep On It).

You met me at a very strange time in my life

Do y'all think Waka Flaka is gonna play again this year?

I think we will get another big name rapper/hip hop artist, don't know about WFF though. Maybe Riff Raff or MGK. Not big name, but I think Mod Sun is possible too.

  25. bstadtfeld

    but does it djent?

I'd love to see Waka on again. He's on my list of rappers I need to see. I think if we get a rapper it's gonna be one connected with the rock/metal scene somehow, so Waka Flocka, RiFF RaFF, MGK, or Tech N9ne. I'd love to see Waka and MGK both do it just to see Wild Boy with both of them. Tech N9ne I think would do really well but he doesn't really do festival tours. Last festival he played that I recall was Knotfest (which is why I say he could potentially do well). And I know I said this earlier as for one I'd love to see, though it is very unlikely is Lil Dicky.

EDIT: Waka is doing a festival in Louisville on July 16th (Washington DC Warped Date) so unless he steps off Warped or does a partial run I'd count him out.
