Yeah I don't feel like PTV is too big for Warped. They did it in 2015 and I don't think they have gotten any bigger since then, have they?

But they are billed pretty high up on some of these hard rock festivals.

Didn't that album do over 50k first week though?

I mean I feel like realistically it probably comes down to asking price and negotiations for stage placement and other things. I heard a rumor from a long time ago that Alesana refuses to go on Warped Tour again because Warped won't give them a main stage spot, as they are right in doing so since it's not 2008 anymore and Alesana's draw is non existent.

it sold well but the fan reception was not positive.

    Things have changed.

Sold about half of what ATL did.

EDIT: It did 54,000, ATL did 80,000

Heard that rumor too and knowing what kind of person Shawn is, I believe it.

Really? I didn't see all that many people hating it. In fact, it was in my top 10 for 2016.

Oh really? I couldn't stand it, none of my friends who like the band liked it and my twitter feed was just bashing it when it came out.

They have a lot left to announce, but last year this fest had a lot of Warped bands (New Found Glory, Yellowcard, Mayday Parade, The Story So Far, Four Year Strong, Every Time I Die, Issues, Roam, Real Friends, Young Guns, Coldrain) so it's definitely worth keeping an eye on. So far, I could see Enter Shikari, Don Broco, Bowling For Soup, Beartooth, Against Me!, Goldfinger, CIWWAF, and Trophy Eyes playing.

I would be so happy if Goldfinger played. I can't see AM! doing it at all though

Yeah, they are definitely the biggest stretch I mentioned. Goldfinger did a few dates in 2013 so they're definitely not out of the question.

I feel like Feldman has probably worked with half the bands that will be playing in 2017.

Goldfinger would be really fun, if just to have the opportunity to skank in the pit to Superman.

Emmure, Sylar, I Prevail, and Harms Way from a close friend on the tour

They won't open tours, and constantly take out small lesser know bands with a small guarantee. Definitely a bunch of head cases. I know for a fact they have been offered countless opening spots that they turn down.

Do we have a list of "confirmed" bands so far?

I believe it. They really think they're the biggest band around and they take out Revival Records bands and friends. There's hardly any outsiders.
