Bleh. I don't believe anything that comes from that subreddit... or really any subreddit.

 

Where?

 

A kid on reddit got a message from a friend who interns at a studio in/around nashville saying they'll be there in 6 weeks. A quick facebook search shows the kid who sent the message has at least "studied" at a studio so who knows.

 

don't know how much stock to put in it though. Didn't they build a home studio a while back? plus if they wanted to record with Sapone, I'm sure that'd be more convenient for them since they have spent like half a year out on tour already but also this is me grasping at straws as one does when discussing rumors of recording activity

 

I put up a very pessimistic guard because I don't want to be let down but I'm still trying so hard to find any proof that it's real haha

 

this is real as fuck. i get that it'll get here when it gets here but i just like being excited for new stuff from them haha

 

february is not six weeks long the reddit post is wrong

i will take most of the credit for championing this band on this site, haha

 

I knew of the band long before you were posting about them. No scene points for you. Hahaha

@cwhit mentioned the band probably 100 times before I finally decided to check them out, great band.. will be cool if we get another release from them soon!

Seems like they will be releasing a new record in 2017 unless that changes. They are not Brand New so I'm pretty confident it will happen this year.

 

Any chance they have multiple releases planned? They've certainly visited their share of studios to not have anything worth sharing.

But it's Brand New we are talking about here so it wouldn't be surprising if none of it gets released

 

Brand New has never officially broken up before, so this is all uncharted territory. Anything goes.
