Has anyone in this thread played Firewatch? I finished it a few weeks ago and loved it! Really great story and voice acting. I really enjoyed the graphics too.

 

some of the best VA work I've seen in gaming.

 

I've bought it twice before, but honestly I'm going to buy RE4 again because it's just that good.

Been playing the Resident Evil 1 HD remaster for PS4 and have loved it so far. Managed to complete it in 3hours30mins to get unlimited Pistol, but If you do it under 3 hours you get unlimited rocket launcher!!!
Anyone else play this? The 'one dangerous zombie' thing is fucking hilarious yet outrageously frustrating if you've ever unlocked that!

 

One was a gift for a brother. He also wanted the case.

Game is fantastic. Like REALLY fantastic. Watched first TV portion last night and enjoyed it a lot. Game totally lives up

 

Until Dawn is very engrossing thus far. I chose not to hurt any animals.

 

Also this whole PS4.5 situation really worries me.

 

I wish they made a new SOCOM game.

 

I'm just gonna trade mine in I guess, hopefully gamestop will have a "get $200 or $150 towards a ps4.5" thing with trade in.

Anyone aware of a good PC gamer podcast? Or even just a weekly podcast focusing on gaming as a whole? I used to listen to Gamespot's Hotspot a few years back but haven't listened to anything since.

Yea I have their latest downloaded right now. I guess I'm more of an old school gamer who prefers PC stuff and retro stuff. I've tried Retronauts, but they get a bit too deep into the obscure stuff.

I have to do some searching, but if I could find an SNES/Genesis era podcast I'd be in heaven.

 

I enjoyed it but was a little letdown with the story. I think it had a lot of potential to be so much more.

 

It will have UHD 4k blu-ray player and support 4K streaming as well as certain games that can run 4K. Don't expect big AAA games like GTA, God of War or whatever else to be running at 4K. $500 gpu's on PC can barely do 4K at 30 frames/second.

So for many AAA games, it will allow them to reach 1080p for sure and better graphics and performance. The power of the system is rumored to be around 2-3x.

 

I definitely felt that way at first with the story but I was reading this article yesterday and made me rethink that. Seems like the story decisions were completely intentional. Makes me really excited for what they do next.

I played it. Although the game looked great when the framerate wasn't shit, the overall story left a lot to be desired.
