Does anyone have a pressure cooker or have good recipes? I got one for Christmas and am excited to use it. I made some risotto tonight using it for the first time and it took about 10 minutes, couldn't have been easier.

 

I've never had one tbh!

It was! I was not prepared for how much of a difference the corn tortillas make in taste and texture.

Food is annoying. Some days I'm like woooo food is the best thing ever in the world gimme all of it. And other days I'm like meh just eating it to survive. Today is an uninspired survival day.

 

This is amazing.

 

I think one of the worst things is when you go to a restaurant that has rave reviews and then your food is sub par. I was so excited to eat at this place and then SOMEHOW my medium rare filet was dry and flavorless, I don't understand how. I was two glasses of (a surprisingly very good wine with smokey tar undertones) wine deep and even with a mini buzz on it wasn't good.

Out $40 and would have rather had pizza or tacos.

 

Should I go to 99 for some classic chain restaurant food

 

saw a movie yesterday at Studio Movie Grill and my meal was pretty good. I had the macaroni & cheese with the optional chicken added because I didn't trust Mac & Cheese as an entree. I was wrong and the chicken was unnecessary and the worst part of the dish, but the m&c (which also had bacon and chives) was great. But the bread was phenomenal. I could order a whole plate of those if I were totally committed to being a slob
