Yeah, I don't have any like dead set goals. I'm just working on improving myself in any small way that I can on a daily basis. Small victories.

 

My bff is like a social chameleon and gets along with everyone and I was wondering how she does it, but listening in on her convos with her other friends I feel like she just dramatically feigns interest. Like "Oh my god that's so crazy!" to things that aren't crazy or even interesting and just catering to what they want to hear and it's like a fascinating human study for someone as socially awkward as myself. I can't be bothered to pretend to gaf tho so I stay being bad at conversations.

Oh yeah. The Ken Ham/Answers in Genesis/Creation Museum brand of Youth Earth Creationism exaggerates the imperfections of the method, making a big deal out of people who allegedly carbon-dated something they knew was young and got a really old number or whatever. It's so weird and obnoxious, especially when I know from experience how easy it is to be a Christian and not have a big fit over the earth being old, lol.

 

This makes sense I guess. Theyre both mega religious and i didnt know that was a creationist deal. I was telling kids how old dinosaurs were and my TA laughed at me and I was like uhhh is that disputed? And when I told my other coworker about it she started going on about carbon dating and I'm like idk sis I just know dinosaurs are old afffff

 

It's bothering me so much that I'm gonna spend my friday night reading about carbon dating. I can't handle this!


Also I finally got ppl to do a choreographed dance routine with me, and the cruel irony of my life is that they chose a justin Timberlake song.

Been down sick last few days and in between sleeping & mental health uproars I been just doodling this one character I have over and over in different scenarios.... I've grown to fall in love with this character, Krow. Might keep him around since it wasn't till I spoke to my friend earlier that he's really just a more extreme version of me.. but it makes me happy and in turn I feel good about myself? lol

My Mom got me a battleaxe one time as a birthday gift cus I didn't really want anything in particular and hadn't alluded to anything. Came home and seen this huge box and believe me, I was as "Wtf?" as anyone else who hears the story or comes into my hole and sees it cooling in the corner lol.
