I kinda feel like an asshole, but the "I don't want to visit the site if I can't read the news comments" ... comments ... on Facebook are probably the people I don't want to be making comments on our news. Like if you love the news comments that much that you complain on Facebook about it ... I'm kinda like worried about correcting them.

I mean yeah, its not in the actual news comments. But we still have the article forum. At the end of the day isn't really the same thing in a way? So I can't see why someone would complain if they actually viewed the site. But I guess this is Facebook we're talking about.

 

I like the television show as well, but I was referring to the podcast.

Oh man, I've never listened to the podcast. Does it follow a similar format? I'll have to check it out.

It's funny because to me it's like exactly why I did it when I see some of the hostility other places.

 

The pod is probably the most important thing to happen to modern comedy since like, UCB or Mr. Show. So, so much talent

I definitely need to check it out then. I do most of my podcast listening while flying, and I always feel awkward laughing out loud, but I think I just need to get over it haha.

I started my current job on February 29 and instantly thought of him just because of the date hahaha. To be honest, I've never watched the show, only heard the podcast. Should I watch the show as well?

 

AP comedy thread got me into so much comedy (including CBB) just from lurking it

 

I almost made a comment on Facebook saying the same thing, but decided its probably best to leave that hostility on Facebook haha.

 

Man I've fallen off CBB (pod and show) in the past year, unfortunately. Tell Em Steve Dave consumed my life catching up, then I ran through Doughboys and now I'm catching up on the Hollywood Handbooks that I missed since November

 

If you haven't yet, you should give Hello From The Magic Tavern a try. Haven't listened to new CBB in a few weeks cause I've been trying to catch up to that and Doughboy's

 

I keep trying to decide if I should ... like tell those people about how to get to the comment thread. Haha, I never know the right move.

 

Just caught up on the podcast. Was stoked The Thermals were on their new album is great. Jerrod rules too. I'm going through the show now for the first time and enjoying it a lot too

 

More or less. The podcast is much funnier, in my opinion.

 

Should just be like "There are ways to discuss music news and articles on the website". Let em know it's possible if they figure it out but be too vague to give them a complete green light.

 

I just downloaded all of Magic Tavern yesterday and I have a road trip Friday so I'm gonna burn through a bunch of it. Comedy thread has yet to let me down so I'll probably enjoy it.

I can't find the thread where all of us absolutepunk users go to reintroduce ourselves, so I'm going to go ahead and do it here: I'm Marcos, I used to argue with all of you under the name "the seventeenth" back in the good old days.

That name was shit and I hadn't used the account in a year or so, but the rebrand got my attention so here I am.

How's everybody doing? I just finished binging LOVE, that show is great

 

Has anyone here attended/know someone who has attended a UCB class? What was the feedback on it? I'd assume excellent and my friend Dani said it was life changing but am interested to hear other views.

 

Never watched the show, but I love the podcast.
