This is why the internet sucks. Haha. Blink hasn't come out saying "Our new single 'Bored To Death' is coming out on April 26th." It's just all of us E-Sherlock Holmes' snooping around the internet, picking up clues and shit, making unofficial announcements. I'm guilty of it too, but gah! Sometimes I wish we didn't know so much that we aren't supposed to know yet, ha. Ya know?!

True, true. Hell, maybe we still will hear the single, but it won't hit radio officially until May. Who the hell knows? haha

 

Someone pretend to have a terminal illness and their last wish was to hear new blink music. Then share the files with us!

Sorry, not funny...but thats how bad I want to hear something from them.

 

I thought they straight-up confirmed April? I 99.997% believe that it will be spun in April.

 

Holy crap, I thought this same thing today. Not this scenario specifically, but if I had a terminal illness, that'd be on my list haha. Probably wouldn't share it though, sorry guys.

I mean if its not ready i'd rather wait for a better product, even if it has been so long. I'd rather them not rush for the 26th if its not gonna be the best it can be by then. What's 1 more week really?

I figured this is probably the last album I will give a shit about this much, unless its amazing and they do another one

 

The long wait has only made the hype even bigger. They need to deliver, a huge letdown will ruin everything.

 

Does it drive anyone else crazy when Tom's stock answer to blink questions is always that he "started that band," and how he was the one that made the band exist? Getting more and more under my skin each time I read him in interviews answering that way.

 

Well yeah he feels shitty that he was pushed out of the band he helped create. Whether he had a bigger hand in actually starting the band I guess we don't know, but it's just his resentment of the situation really. And I'd feel the same way. It just kind of sucks. He sure as hell has done shitty things to Mark and Travis, but this was a shitty thing that they did to him as well. Not really any getting around that. That said, I do think it's ultimately for the best, as I think it's obvious that blink is Mark's livelihood and hadn't been thriving in a long time.

 

Doesn't bother me at all. It's true, and he has feelings like everyone else, no reason to minimize him

 

Per Matt Skiba's Instagram...he just got the master of the new album. 100% complete. Hype Train incoming!!! Again!!!

 

When blink was on hiatus, I wondered if someone with Cancer would use their Make a Wish to have blink reunite for a small show or something. That's what I would've asked for...however due to my age at the time...Make A Wish probably wouldn't have given a shit about me lol

 

Skiba made an instagram post saying that he got the masters from the album today and is completely honored and stoked with what they achieved together.

 

So it's like... DONE!

 

And if it was up to him blink wouldn't have done a single thing in the last 14 months and Mark would be twisting in the wind not being able to do the one thing he wants to do. Good riddance to that guy.

 

YES! I'll be listening to this album on repeat furiously even if it's not good.

 

Me too! I'll listen to it repeatedly until I love it. Haha
