I've never done 2 dates before but I will this year if it works out. If they bring back a Montreal date then I'll almost for sure do 2, it's doubtful though.

 

I live in Midland - just right of the center of the lower peninsula. I was looking to drive to Grand Rapids or something the night I get out of work maybe.

 

I'm in Eaton Rapids, fifteen minutes south of Lansing.

 

This doesn't really help much because it's still about 3 weeks before Warped Tour usually starts and most of the bands played last year.

 

Hmm, that Warped Rewind thing is definitely intriguing. I figured it was just a group made by a fan, but the address displayed when you sign up for the mailing list is the offices of Fini, who are the marketing department behind Warped. So it's definitely official, whatever it is.

 

So Lyman is hoping to add a couple cities... Toronto is the obvious re-add, but any other spots you guys can think of that they'll do for the first time or re-add from years past?

 

I just noticed the video on the Warped rewind page has a date of October 28, 2017 on it. I'm thinking it's going to be a one off show like It's Not Dead or something. That date is a Saturday.

 

As much as I wish it would come back to Montreal I don't see it happening. There's a lot of competition with other festivals in the area (Osheaga, Heavy Montreal, Amnesia Rockfest) and a lot of the venues where they held Warped in the past are just too expensive. Hoping for Toronto to be back, I really enjoyed it in 2015.

 

When it gets closer, we should chat, haha.

I hope that one of the dates that I usually go to (Chicago and St. Louis) are in late July like previous years, that's if I'm chosen for a position at my college which will have me booked from late May to mid July. Unless one of those dates is on a Saturday

 

Warped Rewind could be something similar to It's Not Dead. Another one day throwback festival with both live music and action sports. It might possibly take place on 10/28/17 which is the timestamp on the teaser video.

Miss May I replied to a fan asking about Warped saying they weren't on for 2017.

 

I'm hoping that the Warped Tour can come back to Canada for 2017. I was like "concertless" for 2016. Apart from that, I don't know who could we blame - for the demise of a concert promoter named "Union Events"....

 

if they really end up not on it, i'll be surprised. Still haven't done a proper headliner since 2012.

I've always wanted to go on one of these music cruises. This might be too good to pass up!

 

so last week Kevin said he wanted to announce the dates by today at the absolute latest. However, yesterday he Tweeted at somebody saying it's been hard trying to book a date for Ventura. Maybe that's been the hold up.

 

Has it not been at the same venue in Ventura every year?

 

They skipped Ventura last year because he couldn't get a date that worked in the routing. I guess he's trying to listen to the people begging for it's return and isn't having luck this time, either.

 

Acceptance signed to Rise Records. Could we maybe see them on the tour?
