then HE got upset that she didn't find it funny and sent her a text at like 3am saying "You're overreacting and you're paranoid probably because you smoke too much pot so we're drug testing you every week when you get home". I'm not making this shit up, it's crazy.

    kind of a long one:

before i moved into my current house it was occupied by some guy, his girlfriend, and his friend. from what the landlords tell me they used to use heavy drugs and they suspect they sold crack out of the hoyse. eventually they were evicted after like 5 months of refusing to pay rent.

one night, shortly after moving in, i heard someone yelling coming from outside and then banging on the door. i check to see what's going on and theres this old lady in my doorway screaming about how she wants to see "john stevens" and repeatedly shouts his name, i tell her he doesn't live here and that she must have the wrong house but she keeps screaming and refuses to leave so i threaten to call the police and she eventually leaves. i told the landlords about it and they told me she's the mother of the previous tenant's friend who is in this weird religious group and is looking for her son to take him away from "evil forces".

she kept coming for months at least twice a week, sometimes really early or really late. we called her "john stevens lady" becuase all she would do was scream "john stevens" repeatedly. the cops took her one time but after that they refused to come so there was no point in calling them. eventually me and my roommates resorted to ignoring her, she'd be there for like 10 minutes and then leave. though there were a few times when you'd walk outside and she'd be there and start yelling at you. she would either yell "john steven" or some stuff about her church, she'd also always leave pamphlets for bettering yourself through religion.

one day i left the house at around 11am and noticed she was standing near the driveway with an umbrella not saying a word. i simply ignored her and left. i came back at around 4pm and she was still there. one of my roommates came back and i mentioned it to her and she said she had been there since at least 7am. i left the house again at like 7pm and she was still there, came back an hour later and she was still there.

at around midnight i decided to go out for some food and when i went outside she was no longer there. as i was driving through a pretty dark street near my house i noticed a figure standing in the middle of the road and as i drove towards it i was hoping it would move out of the way so i didnt have to stop or honk at it to move. as i moved closer it started moving out of the way and as i passed it my lights shone on her face and it was "john stevens lady". ill never forget the look on her face as it emerged from the darkness, it was zombie like, her eyes bulging, ive never seen anything like it. that was the last time i saw her, she never came back.

the more reasonable side of me says she decided to wait out there to see whether her son left the house or arrived to it and when she saw that there was no sign of him for the whole day she decided to finally believe us that her son didnt live there. the more supernatural believing part of me says she had died and that last day we saw her standing outside not saying anything was actually her ghost coming back one last time.

    Silly creepy experience:

Being 4 years old sleeping over my Grandmas and I had no idea she did that Green Mask stuff to clean her face at night and I got spooked in the middle of the night, called her, she came in and I thought I was about to be murdered. She looked horrifying lmao.

Not really an experience, but I was informed a few weeks back that my biological grandfather was pretty into black magic before he died at a young age (my mom was maybe 4 when he died). People say he was trying to gain the ability to predict the future through whatever he was up to, which kinda weirds me out, because I've always been better than most when it comes to predicting shitty things before they occur.

I'm sure that I haven't inherited some nefariously obtained psychic powers, and my predictive talents just stem from my long standing pessimism....but it still would have been better if I'd never heard about that particular chapter in my family's history.

Yeah after I posted that I found out she's a pop star or something, I listened to one song and it sounded pretty good.

My grandma died unexpectedly about a month ago. She was obsessed with penguins, to the point where her house was literally just decked out in penguin antiques and pillows and stuffed animals, etc. Following her death, my sister's screensaver on her laptop automatically reset by itself to a picture of a penguin (it had been a picture of her son) and my 2-year-old son has all of a sudden taken a vested interest in penguins (he didn't really see her often, probably less than 10 times in his life and he's obviously too young to remember someone he's met so little times - and he's never been to her house).

About a week after her death, I pulled up a picture of my grandma and me on my phone and he looked at it and said 'Grandma Dee Dee' (which is what we called her). It was the first time he ever spoke her name and again, he hadn't seen her in months (and my wife and I never say her name around the house - and at 2-years-old, can normally only point out about 5 or 6 people in photos and it's people he sees all the time).

I didn't find any of the above creepy, but rather comforting to be honest.

How do people just disappear without a trace? I'm infatuated with stuff like this.

Not really a "creepy experience" but has anyone who believes in past lives ever felt like you kind of know when you previously lived? I feel like a past life of mine was in the late 1800s/early 1900s or something like that. I've always liked the old antique items & other things that date back to that time. It's really weird.
