MvC is 2v2 now.....f that noise. Still excited I guess, but I'm already mentally preparing myself for the worst in the franchise.

Naughty Dog worship is basically a profession for me at this point.

I originally wanted the TLOU Joel and Ellie story to be done with, but with ND exploring that same world throughout that 20 year setting. Seeing the trailer has me convinced otherwise and I love the fact that we're multiple years in advance from the end of the original game. I'm ready.

 

I was kinda hoping it would be a Joel and/or Tommy prequel but adult Ellie is fine too.

 

They'd be stupid not too especially considering how not good Sony is doing lately

 

TLOU trailer made me tear up

 

Just woke up from a long nap to the TLOU2 news and repeatedly screamed WHAT at my phone while I scrambled to open my computer. In the camp of being fine without a sequel but also excited beyond belief at the news.

 

Just couldn't leave well enough alone. One of the greatest endings in video game history does not need to be discarded just to cash in on Joel and Ellie. Should've made a new story with new characters in a different part of the country/world. This is a huge disappointment.

Honestly surprised so many fans of the first game are actually excited about this news.

 

I'd much rather they continue Joel and Ellie's story then a new story with new characters. I feel like that would be cashing in and would be absolutely pointless.

I didn't want them to continue it but now that they are I'll put my faith in ND that they have a worthwhile story to tell and so far the trailer has me pretty excited.

 

ND has done more than enough to earn my goodwill at least.

 

TLOU trailer made me cry. I couldn't be happier. So glad they're continuing Joel and Ellie's story, there's plently more to tell

 

Rewatching the Crash trailer and it doesn't look as horrific as I thought, I just think it could be so much better. It looks so sterile and bright and childish and the tweaks to the designs of the characters are for the worse.

 

Yeah, I'll still play this. Looks a lot better in straight gameplay without all the closeups of his face.

 

Finished the first chapter of Final Fantasy XV and despite a few qualms I have I thoroughly enjoyed it. My mum on the other hand cannot quite fathom why I have bought a game from a series on its fifteenth game that I have never touched before...

 

Just completed the main story of watch dogs 2. I really enjoyed it, it was a huge improvement of the first (which I enjoyed), I thought Marcus was a much better protagonist than aiden too.

 

Should I get Europa universalis 4 or civ 6

Depends on if you want a deeper game or not, EU for that sweet grand strat, Civ VI for that more casual experience.

 

Maybe I will get both

 

The TLOU creative director said they were close to scrapping the whole sequel because they couldn't land on a story worthy of Joel and Ellie.

He also said TLOU is Joel and Ellie's alone, which I agree with. There's just no TLOU without the two.

Combining these comments and the reveal trailer, along with Naughty Dog's track record, coming away from all of it dissapointed is a bewildering mind set imo.

Love the ending so much that you want to leave it a stand alone? Good thing no one is making you play this second one.

I just think it's funny that there's so much backfire for a sequel, when the first game deserves a sequel more than 99% of the content that gets them these days.

Lastly, I'm happy they jumped forward a good 5 years or so. Excited to see the how Ellie's play style is different to Joel's, and how it's developed since we played as her last game.

Lastly for real this time, I got goosebumps, chills, and tear-y eyes when I watched the trailer. I think I might've been fine if not for hearing the audience reaction, and knowing that the first game and these characters mean as much to other people as they do to me.
