People took that Conan reaction to heart? Ha! Buds, spoiler alert: he is a comedian and comedians are known for roasting. He trolled the game because it was funny. It's funny because it's just a wacky video game. You'll be alright.

 

So I'm a couple hours into Dishonored 2 and it's already blowing me away. Haven't even gotten most of the powers yet but the stealth and combat already seems noticeably improved and the visuals and world building alone are like nothing I've seen in a game before. It's rare that I encounter games, especially AAA ones, where I feel like the graphics are fully realized. The (open world!?) city you arrive at by ship after leaving dunwall looks like nothing less than 3D concept art done by an industry pro. Not even being hyperbolic.

 

BF1 is glorious...

How they made a tank mission that is not a pain in the fucking ass is beyond me...bravo

 

Does that mean you finished the first campaign?

 

25 years of gaming but you haven't played Final Fantasy? Cause that's what it comes across as what you're saying, unless that's being misunderstood. I used to think like this before I tried the franchise and now it's one of my favorites.

Which one was your first? Mine was FFX and while the internet at large mostly makes fun of it for a particular scene, belts, etc. I think it was so successful at pairing it's environmental design and music. iirc it was also the last one that was purely turn based but I could be wrong. I have very limited experience with XII.

 

FFX is my favorite game of all time honestly. Between that and Kingdom Hearts II. FFX was my gateway into RPG games, and I usually still to this day play it once a year. I've never been so engrossed in a story and the characters, cheesy dialogue and voice acting included.

Honestly may play it again after I finish FFXV.

Did not. Got about half way through but had to go to bed. Was sneaking around killing people and having a blast. Hopefully can finish first campaign tonight.

FFX is the greatest game of all time.

 

FFXIII on the 360. I know the trilogy is really divisive, but it's obviously (see username) a favorite. It just made me want to explore the franchise even more. I have finished XIII, XIII-2, Lightning Returns, and type-0. I also played a bunch of FF Explorers on 3DS and some FFXIV on PC. If XIV wasn't subscription based, I would be still playing. I have FF7, FFX (played a bit), and FFX-2 on Steam.

the mobile games FF Record Keeper and Mobius FF are really good.

 

I'm still patiently waiting for your FFX reactions once everything dies down and you have time to get past that tedious Blitzball tournament

 

oh, i passed that blitzball tournament. i dealt with that sidspawn or whatever and i'm at a temple now. it's been a bit since i've played it haha. i had to format my hard drive so i had to re-install everything. (thankfully i backed up the games - most of them were not cloud capable).

 

this is my only previous info on the final fantasy series but I love it so much.

Oh god I didn't even think about that haha (about to buy a new HD). With XV and other games out I'm sure it'll be a while before you finish it (or at least get to the big twists) but I'm excited to hear what you think of it!

 

I have never in my life played a moment of a Final Fantasy game....never really felt like I was missing out to be honest.

 

I have a save on the PS4 HD of FFX that I've been working on. I think I'm at the Wedding. I'll dig back into it after FFXV for sure. I just love that game so much.

 

FFX and II are my favorites. Perhaps some of my favorite games of all time. Really enjoy the uncharted series as well (need to finally play 4)

 

I'm stuck on the boss in the water at the Moonflow and it's so fucking hard
