I've had like 3 years of Prime and no problems until recently. I know the holiday season has something to do with it, but I don't remember it being that bad before.

 

Amazon's always come through for me. but right now UPS is failing. It's been out for delivery since like 1am and I still don't have a delivery receipt and I'm done at work in an hour.

Good lord why does it matter if someone gets their gaming opinions from Conan?

 

Because he used that clip to try and be an asshole to people who were excited about the game?

It was obnoxious.

 

I'd love to see Conan's reaction to hearing that people are taking his video game reviews seriously.

 

I just didn't take it that way. Seemed more just a funny video that he was giving his opinion. I guess I can understand how it can be taken that way

Plus that video has been posted multiple times already. It just felt like it was trying to shit on everyone's excitement on release day

 

The pilots for ABX Air (who Amazon uses for shipping) were on strike. They have been back to work for a week or so, but that could have backed them up some.

It's more so what they said and the manner they said it in. Randomly coming in out of nowhere to be antagonistic on release day kind of just comes across rude and unnecessary. And to form or otherwise validate a generalization or opinion about such a large and diverse franchise (again, no entry is quite like another) based on a video by Conan is kinda weird. The Clueless Gamer series is not meant to be taken seriously - that's kinda the point.

Well, cash isn't in hand yet, but should be tomorrow. Just had to transfer the old console info over to the Pro.

the little bit of final fantasy 15 I've played so far has been cool.

It sucks though that new patch in smite comes out tomorrow so I likely won't play this for a week or so.

Haha in no way am I basing my opinion on Final Fantasy from Conan. More like from my 25+ years of gaming. I really doubt many people would be on the fence for this game and then be like, "Oh, Conan doesn't like it, looks like it's not for me". But in a way it is informative, it shows that Final Fantasy is crazy as hell and makes no sense.
