I'm hoping it got pushed into a Spring tour at this point. I just went on the tour's Facebook page and realized they said the lineup announcement was coming "next week" on October 2. I'm not holding my breath anymore.

 

People are super pissed on that page too over the delays and lack of communication. Like if they're out a band I'd much rather them just announce it and place a ??? placer.

 

That's true but State Champs is so much bigger now. FCC could use the exposure.

 

But the lineup was supposed to be announced over a month ago. I would guess that one of the headliners dropped.

 

Absolutely, I'm expecting them to get on biggers tours after their new album hit #13 on the Billboard 200.

 

Yeah DGD charted higher than OMAM (20) and Memphis May Fire (42)

 

I hope so. They haven't came to Utah since before IG dropped :/

 

It's amazing because DGD have been a band for over 10 years and they're probably the biggest they've ever been right now.

 

Backing the lineup for the SC tour is weak.

 

I hope DGD do a really good tour, slightly outside of their comfort zone. Mothership is one of my AOTY's so far so I'd like to see a headliner strongly featuring those songs.

 

Also, when is this SC tour going to be announced? I'm dying to know who these openers are.

 

This talk about the SC tour has me stressing haha. I'm trying to think of bands who they could take out that would suck/make me not want to go and I'm having a hard time coming up with anything. Against The Current maybe? idk

 

I thought that All Stars made a post in the last couple weeks that the tour was finally being announced next month and it was sponsored by American Satan?

 

Tilian said the DGD tour will be around March.

Yeah I love SC but yuck to the headliner next year.

They're just going that pop rock route, which I respect but I'm not into.

People will dig the RF headliner in the Spring though

 

Who are the openers?

 

I can't say but I think it will be announced pretty soon

Regardless of who the openers end up being, I will probably go just for State Champs because I skipped the Sleeping With Sirens tour.

 

If this hits Montreal I'll do the same. I have a feeling I won't hate the openers as much as people are predicting though.

 

Same here. I don't mind the bands people are throwing around.

 

I hate when I'm reading this thread and someone amps up an upcoming tour and then says "I can't say anything about it". At least drop some hints!

 

Can anyone confirm if Seaway is on either one of the SC/RF headliners? Obviously you can't reveal which one but I would like to know when I would have the opportunity to see them since I can't go to the TWY/RF/KP/MB/SW tour.

 

In State Champs' defense, the bands who end up on a tour are not always the bands first offered the tour.
