I went a bit nuts and ordered/preordered a ton of records in the last couple of days. All this great music in 2016 is going to bankrupt me. Picked up:

I ordered the MO represses, I had to keep my collection complete.

I'm not sure how you post your insta pics, but here's an old pic of the MO collection.

 

Jealous of the Thrice split. That sucker was my most disappointing record "miss" it sold out so damn quick

 

Finally got my Discogs collection up to date.

 

I missed it initially, after being on the site 5 minutes before sale time.

I got it from a guy for 80 a year or so back. I messaged EVERYONE on deadformat. Ah.

When I first got into Discogs it took me like a weekend to log my collection. Worth the effort.

Yeah I'm glad I did it. I used Dead Format for a while, but I don't care for it anymore.

 

I tried to do both, for some reason.

Discogs won out. Especially with the app now.

 

It's very useful when browsing at a store trying to remember what you already own.

 

I mean that bar code scanner. COME ON

 

I never use the scanner, but have seen people use it on entire stacks of 1$ bin albums to find something that fell through the cracks.

 

Yeah the scanner is awesome. The app is fantastic

 

Are those all posters or the framed vinyl artwork?

 

Those are all (mostly sealed) copies of those albums.

 

Very good intro table from what I've heard, the goal of the company was to make the cheapest audiophile turntable they could. Friend has it and loves it, if it was out when I got my first table I would have it

 

Did you do your own framing or have a local place do it? It looks really nice and I've been thinking about framing some of my own records.

 

I actually picked these up at Michael's Craft Store. They're labeled as LP frames.

I got one this Christmas and I've loved it. It's my first turntable and it's worked really well for me. Definitely a good one to start with (or at least it has been for me).
