Just because I want another reason to complain, I bet they kill off Sid in this one and the new cast takes over in 8.

Wait what? They fire Melissa so they can hire a whole new cast of young people?

I think Melissa being too good of an actress for the role really made people forgive how ridiculous her character was written from the beginning. If you’re the child of someone who is a killer you don’t inherit stabbing skills!! It never made any sense I’m going crazy

To be fair, her grandmother was also a serial killer. She has a lot going against her. I'm not being serious about her inheriting anything, if it isn't obvious lol

They’re probably not going to acknowledge anything that happened in Scream VI or the characters. Wouldn’t be surprised if they act like Scream VII is a direct sequel to Scream 5.

Scream 5 shares all of those same characters though?

 

I just mean the events. Sidney might mention Dewey’s death or a killer returning to woodsboro, but I would be surprised if anything else is brought up.

 

Gonna call it now that Scream 7 introduces Dewey and Gale’s adult child that hasn’t been mentioned before.

 

Gale muddies that up. She can’t show up and just act like NYC didn’t happen to her.

 

If she even appears in this film. I haven’t seen anything about Courtney Cox returning which is surprising considering all of the other casting announcements. Courtney might have been closer to the new cast so maybe she doesn’t want to return.

 

She’s been mentioned but never had anything confirmed. Why wouldn’t she be in it? They were desperate enough to get Neve back, so I can’t imagine they’d leave the other legacy character out of the movie. Also the only character that would be in every single movie.
