We drove by it on our road trip, could barely recognize it tbh

 

Families are a nightmare. Movies are the perfect alternative.

 

I’m sure it’s been brought up somewhere on this forum but search didn’t find it and I just saw the trailer for the new Robbie Williams “biopic” where they’re replacing him with an ape from Planet of the Apes and wut

 

Yeah that plus the Lego Pharrell movie, music biopics are getting real weird.

Also that has to be a movie more for the UK/AUS/NZ markets. I don't think most Americans know who Robbie Williams even is.

Anytime I hear the name Robbie Williams I picture Rob Thomas from Matchbox 20 even though I know it's not right

 

I'm putting it out there that theres no market for a Robbie Williams biopic in Australia either

The first trailer for that was a real wtf moment but there’s a newer one that makes it seem more tolerable?

the theater got REAL quiet after it aired today before Gladiator

 

Music biopics are usually terrible and unnecessary. At least with l Piece By Piece and this it’s not just some hot actor lip syncing and doing an accent.

 

Piece By Piece was interesting. It’s currently my least favorite 2024 movie I’ve seen, but only because I’ve done a decent job of not seeing things I’d hate, lol; I don’t regret watching it.

 

Just listened to a couple Robbie Williams songs and this guy is impressively boring

 

It’s crazy that Taylor Hanson and Chad Michael Murray are the same person in 2024, by the way. They look identical haha. Just a shower thought.

 

the highlight of robbie williams' career was getting in a feud with liam gallagher. he's lucky anyone wanted to make a movie about him in the first place.

 

Take That/Robbie Williams was pretty huge in the UK. I’m sure the movie will do numbers there but I’m not really sure where else

My Facebook memories called up an an old status talking about watching “The Sound of Metal” and how much I liked it. 4 years later, I wonder if it’s a movie people still think about or if it’s another victim to the Prime Video algorithm/memory hole.

It’s crazy to me that Olivia is in that movie. She really transformed it took me a sec to realize it was her

I see Sound of Metal in a lot of those depressing TikToks about male loneliness.
