Was at TDWP yesterday and Garrett of Silent Planet said they're doing a show for the 10th anniversary of The Night God Slept at Chain Reaction next month on the 20th. Should be announcing tomorrow

Speaking of album plays I was noticing that Knuckle Puck is playing a shockingly low amount of songs from Copacetic on the State Champs tour. There's gotta be a full tour for it right?

I think that’s definitely in the works since they are playing it at Slam Dunk next year.

There is also a Chicago show for it in January. Im surprised they havent announced support yet as the show was announced in July

Trevor from Tomahawk on the Vinyl Podcast said Sick New World indeed is getting canceled. It's been edited out of the podcast already and he also said they had a tour planned around it that now isn't happening either

When will they announce this? I’d love my money back

I believe they said support announced in December. Someone posted in here it included Seaway.

Dance Gavin Dance has a tour for Spring. Last I heard they wanted to announce it before the year is up so I imagine this is coming sometime in the next few weeks

Lana Del Rey has sold out her UK/Ireland stadium tour so quick that another Wembley Stadium show has been added!! Absolutely mind blown by this!!

It’s a perfect day for letting go... Supporter

She must not have been to England in a while

    idk man

Would assume it gets announced after State Champs tour at the soonest, right? Or maybe after the Chicago date if the tour is later in the year. A Copacetic tour in the fall is kind of perfect considering the type of album it is, I'm secretly hoping (yet 1000% not expecting) a coheadline with Turnover to celebrate Peripheral Vision.

So funny that we're talking about this now, I threw on Copacetic on my way to work.

Her last proper UK tour was in 2017 according to setlist fm. Since then she played a couple of festivals in 2019, 2023 and 2024

Lana sold out Fenway pretty quick last year. Not surprised.

Yeah her whole thing is scarcity. She’s only played like 3 proper headline shows in NYC her entire career

didn’t used to always be so rare! I’ve seen her 7 times and 4 of those were San Diego shows lol (the others were Coachellas)

  19. iCarly Rae Jepsen

    run away with me Platinum

it's like Adele where she can never play another live show in her life and be set for life financially so she isn't rushing to tour since based on showing up 30 minutes late with a Juul I don't think she particularly cares about performing live

    The intrusive whisper fascinates me

I thought Tomahawk getting back together for shows this year was weird considering The Jesus Lizard’s schedule

Sucks for the undercard bands if true. Hope they can pull some shoes together in time.

I'm still shocked that SNW is selling so poorly that they're ready to pull the plug 5 months in advance.
I understand that the Linkin Park tour has been selling awfully but still would've thought that Metallica + a really solid undercard would be enough to keep it afloat.

Maybe the undercard was too diverse for Metallica fans

Or Metallica has toured the last two years and are doing more dates next year so fans can see them cheaper in their cities or had already seen them recently.

The two headliners they got just weren’t a massive pull
