The Terror Vision announcements from today are very cool. I have the Tony Phillips DVD but have not watched it yet. I am currently showing Pathogen, the film Emily made when she was 12, to my film class

Gonna watch Thanksgiving for the first time on Friday and follow it up with the Kill Count.

 

I do think it's worth seeing, if only for the performances. I wasn't raised religious, though, so I felt like this didn't have as universal an appeal as Immaculate and First Omen. ymmv I guess

 

It's a little early right now, but just to plan ahead, is the thread interested in doing another end-of-the-year list? If so, do people want to wait until after Nosferatu, or get lists in before the holiday so I can tabulate and we'll all know that's kind of the one exception?

I just started putting mine together and aside from a top few, it's definitely shifted around a bit and looking a little different than I expected. I'm excited to revisit a lot of stuff from this year.

 

Might be best to wait until Nosferatu but that's so close to the end of the year. I'm more than fine doing it asap

 

The Substance does not need to be almost 2 and half hours long

I read the Substance screenplay, they did cut some stuff out that wasn't too important. Film as is is perfect length.
