Percy Jackson and the Olympians (Disney+)

This series is based on the book series! The first three episodes are up now. Anyone watch yet? I haven’t read the books, but fans have been saying this is faithful to the source material.

 

The first three episodes were good! Medusa was really well done. I’m looking forward to the next one.

 

Just finished episode 3. The medusa scene played out differently than in the book, but it's not a bad thing. So far I'm enjoying the show, but the acting is still rough. I appreciate that they actually cast actors that fit the age of the characters in the book, but the main 3 actors are beyond monotone. It's like every line of dialogue is said with the same pitch and tone. I get they're kids and this is their firs big show so it's not surprising, but still.

 

Never read any of the books lay the first so I get to go in fresh
