My hook up fell through and I ended up having to buy a ticket resell :( good thing I can dunk though so I’ll definitely be able to get in.

I'm really digging this album and am new to this cat. I understand from reading here that Boat Songs should be my next listen. Are his earlier albums good too, or not as much? Just curious.

This is not typically the type of act I really dig, but man, the guitars on Manning Fireworks are very very good

  9. All the best songs from his early material except one or two are on the live album and sound much better there. I’d listen to that maybe even before Boat Songs although both are essential

Yeah I’d say Live and Loose should be Stop number 2. Then Boat Songs.
I also like Ghost of Your Guitar Solo, but it’s not really a similar sound

the reworked versions on the live record make that album irrelevant for me, tbh

  12. From what I've heard, just a few from spotify playlists, the stuff before boat songs sounds a lot more like his other band Wednesday, ie shoegazey

Maybe a top 5 show? Absolutely incredible and he played at the best sounding venue in Pittsburgh.

Courtney Barnett and MJ Lenderman is a dream tour.

There has to be a new CB album coming, right?
