The Raiders job is absolutely going to become available

I basically listed off everyone who isn't either 1st year or "no chance" lol.

Pretty shallow pool when you consider Bill, Vrabel, Salah, Johnson, Slowik etc etc are all available.

I'd take that job in a heartbeat if I knew I had some leeway to build the whole thing from the studs.

i think the Browns job is more attractive than you think.... yeah Watson sucks shit but at some point theyre going to move on from him and cap aint real so they'll figure it out. Small market with not much success so relatively low pressure for a first time HC and if you can somehow be the guy to resurrect that team and make them watchable you'll get the key to the city after year 1.

that said i also dont think Stefanski gets the heave.

Seven head coaching changes last year. I think we'll probably match that this year.

I'd assume this is at least within the realm

    Almost certainly changing head coaches:
    Jags, Jets, Saints

    Probably changing head coaches:
    Bears, Raiders, Giants, Cowboys

Should change head coaches but might not:
    Bengals, Browns

Shouldn't change head coach but outside shot they do:
    Dolphins, Colts

Of those 11 teams, I think a fair ranking is:

    1. Bengals
    2. Bears
    3. Dolphins
    4. Jags
    5. Cowboys
    6. Colts
    7. Raiders
    8. Giants
    9. Browns
    10. Jets
    11. Saints

So, they'd have to get rid of the GM for that to be true though, because they had a likeable QB, reasonable success, a roster on the rise...and then the GM fucked it up with the worst trade in NFL history and had them firesaling parts earlier in the year. Even if Stefanski stays, Watson gets benched and they eat his cap, are they even a .500 team next year? In a division with 2 elite teams showing no signs of slowing down, and a Bengals team that at least has a franchise caliber QB/WR pairing

    Bill Belichick
    Mike Vrabel
    Robert Saleh
    Todd Monken
    Zachary Orr
    Bobby Slowik
    Vance Joseph
    Jesse Minter
    Kellen Moore
    Kliff Kingsbury
    Ben Johnson
    Aaron Glenn
    Brian Flores
    Liam Coen
    Drew Petzing

I could see Ben Johnson liking Ryan Poles but if this is the list then it's between the Bears, Jags, and Lions.

Cannot fathom anyone hiring Bill but someone (Dallas) will probably be dumb enough to do it.

Kliff to Chicago is a real possibility. If we go Randall's route then the pool is Zachary Orr or Aaron Glenn and I do not like the latter at all.

Low key think Jesse Minter and Kellen Moore are going to be incredible gets for some teams.

I personally still think the Saints job is pretty good because New Orleans rules and their fans rule

yeah you’ll have a shitty roster for awhile because the tax man came calling - but there’s 2 out comes:
    1) you’re a scapegoat and only got a HC job for that to begin with so might as well enjoy the 1 year of pay raise of head coaching you get to put on your resume, who was that guy the Texans hired post-Deshaun? David… Causey? Something like that
    2) the owner knows exactly wtf is going on and supports you through 2 bad and one mid season so you have stability to build the team in your image

I think I'd put the saints job over the Jets and Browns. Saints are in cap hell for 2025 still, but after that they're out of it. They have a veteran QB who's locked in as a starter, even if he's meh. There's some young talent, and you can trade Kamara for something. In a rare occurence, they actually have extra picks in the 2025 draft too. They're actually at a 0 point differential, so, they're not SO terrible that they are the Jags/Raiders/Panthers who arent even close to competitive each week.

And the Browns and Jets both need organizational level changes with owners who straight up suck balls. Neither owner can create a good team even if it falls into their lap.

Point taken and agreed, you're right. Plus the NFC South is probably the most desirable division to coach in because it seems like they all stink.

Yeah, Saints job on that ranking depends on if Mickey Loomis stays. If he does, well, then you probably dont want that job. If he's gone and its a new GM...all that roster is is like 8 aging veterans on insanely expensive deals and a TON of guys under 25. Its a dream rebuild roster after 2025.

It would however be a very Browns thing to do. Keep the GM who f'd it up (at the owners say, of course), and fire the one useable coach they've had in decades.

Saints fans are in the same group as Eagles and Pats fans, they are bad.

Nah Pats and Eagles fans both loudly criticize any little misstep their teams have

Saints fans literally still think they’re going to the Super Bowl when they’re 7-9 lol it should be studied

For the Jags at least the DUUUUVAAAAAL bullshit at 2-9 is trolling, we know we’re one of the sorriest teams in the league and we decide to make it everyone else’s problem too lol

Saints pride for New Orleans functions very differently and they will endlessly say something that boils down to “the team is elite they’re just not playing right”

We’re talking about “good fans” in terms of home field advantage for coaches and players though

the piercing loudness of Saints fans in the Superdome is UNSHAKABLE
