I’m just here to dunk on Murph, imagine watching the Daniel Jones Giants and thinking college football is boring

It’s weird because I am very much a drama whore, but I also just HAAAAAAAATE college football coaches so their drama bores me. Like not the pro wrestling kinda hate where I wanna see them get there’s, the kind where I just wanna forget the exist. Probably extends from how long they argued players shouldn’t get paid (while just paying them under the table)

 

I think murph said he does not watch the New York football giants, fair weather fan

 

The coach angle adds even more intrigue for me

I’m gonna play devils advocate here too

thinking football has to be high octane offense to be fun is for 14 year olds

be a grown up and enjoy defensive battles

 

It’s like thinking alcoholic drinks have to be loaded with sugar to be good

 

Some college football is good, some is bad

 

this might be where i log out for a bit lol

 

I long had the theory which kinda seems like it's being played out here that they were saying that because they didn't want to get stuck in bidding wars with players. which stinks but isn't necessarily them saying they're against players getting paid entirely. they just had to say that since any payment at the time wasn't permitted.

One of my struggles with really investing and watching college football is that most games take place on Saturdays, and naturally that is a day we aren’t home or are busy.

If I tried convincing my wife I wanna stay home both days of the weekend to watch football she also might slit my throat lol

 

I don’t think I’ve ever even watched an entire college football game, so I probably shouldn’t have an opinion on it

I agree with these

even though I do think college football can be fun and would watch it more if my job didn’t require me to work every single Saturday that I didn’t already request off for a show I’m playing

 

the Michigan Indiana game was 20-15! it was a defensive battle! there are just so many pro QBs who can barely complete a pass to the sticks, it is helpful from an entertainment standpoint to have plays called at least that aren't designed 5 yard drag plays

 

Wait til you hear about how many entire nfl games I’ve watched this year.
