it looked bad but he actually was punching at the ball, then got punched when he got back up, and then the penalty got called on him. Everybody including the lineman who punched him saw him swinging his fist from the wrong angle and didn't see Aaron Jones directly holding the ball in front where he was punching. The whistle was not blown yet. Hell yeah Travon I want you to keep punching at that ball as long as that RB remains upright.

 

I guess he "should've" just walked away and said nothing when he got decked in the facemask but somehow that seems unrealistic to expect in a tense defensive game where everyone's emotions are high. No one gonna say it was wrong of the lineman to punch him in the face? All he did was push the guy's shoulder off of him and say some shit and he got called and the other guy didn't. The refs fucked up. If anything it shouldve been offsetting penalties.

 

and this is not to say "Jags would've won" no they wouldn't lol Mac would've just probably thrown another pick. But I disagree with the knee jerk response to Travon trying to force a fumble like he was supposed to and then getting indignant when somebody punched him over it. If the Vikings didn't like him punching at the ball then maybe Aaron Jones should've went down sooner.
