I need some lyrics posted to a website that will assuredly try to install spyware.

 

The typical answer is In the Shadow of Two Gunmen. "And We All Return To Our Roots" was the closest thing they had to a hit and features Shannon's vocals more than any song on the new one. My personal favorite is Everybody Left. I think they perfected their sound there.

 

I’m quite partial to their self-titled album! My affinity might be partially informed by nostalgia though — it was in heavy rotation during my early 20s. The opener and closer are my favorite songs from the band!

 

gonna be annoying to get yet another different answer, but if you dig this i would say just work backwards and listen to everybody left first

 

This is absolutely fantastic. Missed these guys so much and this just hits so well.

Going to run through all their albums now. What a great band.

 

If anyone isn’t starting with late night conversations you’re missing out. But I’m biased being from Peoria.

 

That's fun! Couldn't pinpoint that idea, but from my second listen I started thinking of DTEA a lot! Don't know if he had a part in the recording too, but seems that might not be a coincidence ;d really solid album!

He stumbled a bit in Roots, looked like he forgot the lyrics. They sounded great though. The disco ball was a nice touch lol

 

how was the turnout/venue like? never heard of it before

 

It was a pretty cool spot. The layout is more wide than deep so it’s easy to be close to the stage if you want. Turnout was great - not sold out but close.
