Was $250 to refill my medication so I had to stop taking it love this world so much

Our insurance changed, and I need a med refill. My doctor doesn’t take our new insurance and won’t send over a weeks worth of meds without seeing me for an appt - which is like over $200 for the out of network appt.

I have an appt with a new doctor on Monday, but until then I’m going to be irritable, sad, and have ringing ears.

 

Yeah, I do understand this. the problem is the signs we needed to see that she was performing well or on par with Biden just aren't there. doesnt mean she cant win just isnt very likely.

if/when she loses, I want her just to be humiliated and forgotten about.

 

definitely frustrating.

my new doctor has so far scheduled weekly check-ins, with the second on Thursday, for meds that take a month+ to really see much improvement or anything. so it's just an awkward 5-min phone call before he bilks my insurance prob lol.

 

Truly amazing how much meds helped me and now I just get to be off them again because of our great health system

I'm not super surprised. a good chunk tend to be fairly conservative and then there's those who feel they got theirs and fuck everyone else (a viewpoint the US loves to reinforce).

 

The support coming from largely the minority groups he talks the most shit about is especially frustrating.

I guess people feel that the protest vote or non vote means something to them. But nothing is going to change in Gaza from this election, as horrible as it is.

Would like to check in when people in this country can no longer get married, women die because they are forced to carry births to term, and there are increasing numbers of children who are given up for adoption because the families can’t afford to have them or don’t want them. Plus trans people not given rights or afforded healthcare that can save their lives.

I know the dem party is at fault for not being harder against it but so are the republicans and the people that choose not to do anything. I’m sorry but abstaining is not going to do anything if you’re not actively doing anything else to make a change.

 

I don't want to name names but I'm sure the people who have been notoriously stubborn for years about the one thing they care about being the only thing in the world that matters will not suddenly develop a conscience and think about women for the first time in their lives
