I’m rarely optimistic, and I know this is a bit reductive, but when Biden won, the prevailing sentiment seemed to be, “I’m not much of a Biden guy, but Trump terrifies me.” And the celebration after he won seemed to be more of a “Trump didn’t win!” thing rather than genuine excitement for Biden.

It just seems more probable to me that a high turnout would be more in favor of Harris going off this same logic. I just don’t see how Trump has suddenly gained a record turnout that wasn’t there for him 4 years ago.
