we're hovering around 60-65 the rest of the week and finally dropping down to high 50's next week but its been 70 or higher quite a few days in october. its gonna be a mild winter again with more ice than snow if we end up getting anything. last year was pretty week besides one big snowfall in february and the year before we had a big ice storm in december and thats it so im not expecting much. im probably moving to chicago in the next 5-6 months tho

the annoying thing is that i leave for work at 5:30 in the morning most days and its like 40 or 50 outside so i dress warm but when i get out of work its upper 60s and im screwed (we change into our uniform at my job so im stuck with whatever i was wearing in the morning when i leave)

 

Yeah that's the kind of winter they're forecasting here this year sadly too. We got a good snow in January and some other smaller ones which was nice because we got to go sledding with my son when we got literally zero snow the year before, I'm really hoping we get one good polar vortex+preciptiation event this year because otherwise it sounds like it's going to be another winter in the high 40s/low 50s.

 

@David87 Do you stand by this post where you say you believe it is similarly likely that the Houthi slavery story is propaganda as it is likely that Joe Biden was not secretly trying to stop genocide? Has your opinion on the relative likelihood of these things changed given that Biden has not seriously pressured Israel a single time and that there still remain no reports of "Houthi slave keeping" that do not originate from Saudi state media?

How about this one? Do you still think the Houthis hate Jews more than they support Palestinians? You never replied to any of my follow up questions on that, like why they would only start attacking Israel once they are actively committing genocide against Palestinians as well as offer to stop the blockade if the genocide stops. I thought it was weird that you didnt respond to my points because they included pointing out how racist and islamophobic this idea is.
