One of my external HDs is being wonky and I'm not sure if there's a legit problem or not lol.

Last week it suddenly struggled to transfer files (but I could still watch off it fine). Then this morning it didn't seem to work at all when connected. It would light up but not do anything else. I swapped cables with another drive and it suddenly worked. but then i just put the original cable back on it and it still works. the hell is going on lol.
