His politics that come out in his writing are also very weird and inconsistant. He's like a conservative libertarian but also at the same time very "woke" on certain issues.

Like Yellowstone will do some of the best stuff ever shown on fictional tv about indigenous rights, violence against native women, and environmental issues on native land, and then the next second it's like I am watching The West Wing if it were written by Ron Paul fans.

“Sicario 2” is somehow much, much worse.

sicario is one of the best movies the last ten years, sicario 2 is ... not, but still kinda fun/dumb.

wind river is his best non-sicario project, though I admittedly have stopped trying to keep up with most of his tv shows.

Hell or high water is his best. For those who wish me dead sucked.

Sicario is a top 5 favorite film of all time for me. Add in Wind River and Hell or High Water, and its a stellar trifecta of films. But the money is now in TV for sure. He essentially has a blank check from Paramount to do whatever he wants.

Currently watching the 2nd season of Lioness. Latest episode has Zoe Saldana's character yelling repeatedly at a new recruit "Do you love your country?"....."DO YOU LOVE YOUR COUNTRY?". Its not as gung ho, "USA is best!" as the Jack Ryan series, but for sure wears patriotism on its sleeve.

I started it when it aired and liked it but never kept up with it for some reason.

first 3 seasons were pretty fun. last season was boring. Martha Kelly and Louie Anderson were always wonderful.

Alright word, I’ll give it a go. I remember it not appealing to me much back when it was airing, but my mom (who plays it real fast & loose with her television recommendations), has been trying to force it on me for years lol

I haven't seen it yet. But I grew up going to Weeki Wachee mermaid show a few times a year because I have family up in Hernando County. My 2nd cousin actually married one of the mermaid performers and as a kid I attended a wedding with all these girls.

Oh ok gotcha I asked because the Weeki Wachee Mermaid show in Hernando County is the oldest and most famous one in Florida.

Just started watching this new show on Netflix called "Territory"; basically the Australian version of Yellowstone, with Succession mixed in to the story. Looks like a fairly high-end production, so any Yellowstone, or Taylor Sheridan, fan I think will like
