It’s really cool and fun that Trump and Kamala are going to be in Pittsburgh tomorrow.

No, I wish it was a dealbreaker IF there weren't other issues at hand. If Gaza was the only issue at hand I'd hope that people wouldn't blindly vote dem and they'd hold her accountable. Because it would be for me. And that's sad and unfortunate, that it's not as simple and black and white as we'd like it to be.

No wonder David's the only one who bothers responding to you lol.

So if there was no racism, homophobia, poverty, etc. magically within the US, while its doing the most racist thing possible abroad, then it would be a dealbreaker.

  8. And we get to that point by bringing attention to people of color

Good thing racism and white supremacy wasn’t created through colonialism.

  19. I'm trying to figure out at what point a Democrat committing a holocaust would be a dealbreaker for you. I think your calculus is morally reprehensible, and I'm trying to expose it.

In this post you say that the genocide would become a dealbreaker to you "If Gaza was the only issue at hand." Surely you can't mean the ONLY issue? If ANY other issue is at hand, you will not hold the candidate accountable for supporting genocide?

lol I don’t hate your posts here so I’m not incentivized to stop them! And yeah Freud isn’t always the best writer/clearest writer but I do think they were up front about that when they first came around? I thought I remembered them saying they were just kind of getting into discussing politics so I say cut them some slack…which to your credit I thought in the last couple of posts you dropped the snarkiness a bit and kinda honestly explained the issue you had with their points in a fair way.

I don’t want to speak for Freud but I think I get their point on how it is sad that voters being more concerned with domestic issues ends up leading to a lack of influence on our pols on international issues, because our international policy tends to lead to a lot of death around the world. But being sad about that, I don’t think, would be enough to persuade people to abandon issues that personally impact themselves and their loved ones and surrender the country to Trump and Republicans and abandon their vote to prevent that. I don’t think those are mutually exclusive ideas to hold for most people, and I assume that’s what Frued’s point is haha
