I think having no one in front or behind us the entire time really made it feel special. Truly felt like we were in there alone

Headless Horseman was extremely impressive, still prefer Haunted Overload though.

Florida is great because someone I know will post on Facebook " Hey I need a large realistic mermaid tail for a grownup costume. Does anyone have one?" and they'll get a half dozen sincere replys from people who do mermaid shows at tourist traps offering to help lol

Some Halloween projects this year. I had to make the pumpkin picture REALLY dark in order for the different light colors to really show.

I feel like practicing drawing has really helped improve my art skills all around. I have helped a couple kids carve their pumpkins this year and I feel like I'm better at it than usual. That or when compared to small children I seem amazing, just not compared to other adults lol

Put together my Halloween playlist. I feel like the trick to a good one is having a good mix between Horror-Punk, Goth Rock, Metal, Witch Rock, creepy sounding indie songs, and horror movie scores, along with the stereotypical Halloween classics like Thriller, Danny Elfman, Rocky Horror, ect.

I also like to add in the themes of old spooky tv shows for fun.

Dead Man’s Bones is a good add to a spooky playlist.

We showed our son the Thriller video this year and I can confirm that kids today are just as amazed by Michael Jackson’s dance moves now as people back then were lol

Waiting for 12:01 AM tomorrow when Christmas Time officially starts now.

I think between post-2016 political discord and Covid that Thanksgiving has kind of fallen off in the hearts and minds for a lot of Americans, so now the zeitgeist just goes straight into Christmas post-Halloween. Might as well move Black Friday to early November.

@Matt Haunted Overload in NH? I went last year and daaaaamn it was so good. The scene designs are right up there with the best around here!

Bummed I missed out this year, didn’t get tickets in time lol
